She sat up in stark terror ... as she remembered Claude’s words: "A lethal poison that leaves no trace ... the victim dies after a few hours." Claude’s sister had died that way. Lisa had to know if the vial that held the ancient poison was still in Claude’s study. Silently she crept down the stairs and into the room.  A few moments later her worst suspicions were confirmed--the vial was gone. It was more than possible that her fiancé had poisoned at least one person--and that she would be the next victim!
