The Shadow of Doom seemed to pass before lovely Nurse Gillian Owen's eyes the moment she saw the towers of Brecon Castle. The townspeople had warned her of danger and odd goings-on at the brooding old mansion, but Gillian had given her word to serve as nurse for David Brecon's young daughter Julie, and mere rumors wouldn't scare her off.
