Charity Willis is offered a free college education in exchange for giving herself over for a few months to Eric Berne and his boss, B.G. Grantham. Grantham is a brilliant physicist who lives on the Olympic Peninsula on a big estate and strange home which seems to be haunted - but is it haunted by ghosts or some type of atomic manifestation? Grantham likes to experiment with the concept of pleasure, including controlling the sex lives of his employees and guests. After Charity arrives at the estate Eric and B.G. find their feelings for Charity go beyond their sexual attraction for her.
