Mills & Boon started the By Request imprint in August 1995, replacing the monthly reprint series Best Seller Romance - than called Favourites - and the bimonthly Duet with a bimonthly volume of 2 full-length themed novels and a bimonthly volume of 2 full-length novels by one author.
Starting in ? one volume per month of now 3 themed novels was released and from January 2006 on two volumes are published each month.
