Sherrilyn Kenyon (sometimes called Sherri by her fans) is the creator of the Dark Hunter series, a vampire like race of beings who are given a second chance for revenge by the goddess Artemis in exchange for hunting Daimons (vampires).
The Dark Hunters enter into a pact with Artemis, wherein she holds their souls.
In addition to Dark Hunters, Sherri's books also encompass a Were-Hunters, Dream-Hunters and other aspects of mythology.
