Patricia Rice has published historical and Regency romances since 1984, contemporary romance since 1998, nominated for Rita awards in all three categories. She has several million books in print and has been on both the New York Times and USA Today's bestseller. Ms. Rice is a former CPA whose forty-fourth book is scheduled for July, 2007, from Signet Eclipse.

Patricia Rice is married to her high school sweetheart and has two children. A native of Kentucky, she resides in St. Louis, Missouri, and now does accounting only for herself. She is a member of Romance Writers of America, the Authors Guild, and Novelists, Inc., as well as numerous professional accounting organizations and local charities.
