Book Description

A fresh start. Kate Stuart thought they'd made it. From the moment she'd first seen Tony Fielding in the prison waiting room, she'd been certain of one thing and suspected another. She was attracted to him, and there was a good chance he was innocent. And she'd been right. Her detective work in catching the real embezzler at her Boston brokerage firm had won Tony's freedom and earned her promotion to executive status. And the attraction had proved irresistible.

Tony was exonerated, reinstated in his old job; they were together. Kate thought everything was as it should be. But then, why did Tony feel he had to leave, to start a new life in New York? She couldn't stop Tony from trying to put the painful past completely behind him, but would it mark a new beginning for their love--or the bitter end?
