Rebecca Flanders is a pseudonym for Donna Ball. She also writes as Donna Boyd and Donna Carlisle. The author was born in 1951. She is a Romantic Times Magazine Career Achievement Award winner. Her first book was published in 1982, and her book The Key was the first title published as a Harlequin Intrigue.

Rebecca Flanders wrote two titles as a Harlequin Presents author, three titles as a Harlequin Intrigue author, and three as a Silhouette Shadows author. Writing for Harlequin American Romance, Rebecca Flanders published twenty-five books, and as an author for the Harlequin Romance imprint, she published one novel.
