Gina Wilkins finds creating happily-ever-after romances an easy task - she simply uses her own life as an inspiration! Raised with a romantic heritage as well as gift for storytelling she credits her successful career in romance to her long, happy marriage.

Starting to write romances because she believes in happy ending she sold her first category romance (Hero In Disguise) in 1987 to Harlequin - it was published as a Harlequin Temptation - and has been writing full-time since. She wrote for the Silhouette Special Edition imprint under the name Gina Ferris since 1988 and later as Gina Ferris Wilkins, but starting with The Father Next Door of 1997 she writes as Gina Wilkins in that line. Her first contemporary romance was published as a Pageant Romance in 1988 and since 2000 she writes for Harlequin and the Signature Select imprint.
