The job seemed an answer to prayer
Nothing in Marion's previous experience, however, had prepared her for the extreme mental and physical pressure of working with the General Hospital's Flying Squad.
And nothing had prepared her for Luke Challoner--an arrogant, domineering man, seemingly without human feelings, who expected everyone to bow to his will. He was also the most attractive man Marion had ever met.
