Book Description

Regan McKinney and her grandfather are paleontologists in Boulder, Colorado, but her grandfather seems to have disappeared. She follows a lead to Cisco, Utah and finds Quinn Younger, hiding out there. Regan and Quinn had teenage crushes on each other from the summer he spent on a dig with her grandfather, where he was sent after being busted for stealing cars. He went on to be an pilot and is famous for being shot down during the Gulf War. Trouble has followed Regan to Cisco; Quinn yanks her into one of the super hot-rods stashed there and they hit the road trying to outrun the bad-guys, save her grandfather and sister and solve the myster.
