Abrielle is a respected woman for her wit and beauty, making her a fine match for any nobleman in the land. But when her stepfather is disgraced by being denied his title and wealth, Abrielle is no longer a suitable match for any nobleman aside from the repulsive Desmond de Marlé. Rumors abound that he has murdered his two previous wives, but she is left with little choice but to accept his hand in marriage to rescue her family from destitution.

Raven is a tall, dark Scotsman who falls in love with Abrielle & refuses to leave her be even after she has accepted the hand of de Marlé. Their mutual attraction and burning desire for each other cannot be ignored.

Everlasting was Kathleen Woodiwiss's thirteenth and final book.
