Marcy Grant was followed by a man she couldn't see, but who was all around her. She could hear his voice, but couldn't catch him. He told her to leave, but she had nowhere else to go.

Marcy fled Aspen, but at her homecoming, the glamorous ski capital became a snowy hell. The mysterious stalker tailed her everywhere, close enough to remind her that the slopes were always running downhill, just like her time left to live.

She sought refuge in the arms of Brad Stewart. But as manager of her family's inn, he had secrets that left him far from innocent.

Where Marcy had expected peace, there was only danger... And not even her expert skiing could help her outrace an avalanche of terror.
