Nicky had never really known her father.
So when he died she couldn't grieve - espeically when she learned that he had left her a half share in his plantation on Maloa, a lovely little tropical island off the coast of New Zealand. The only thing that worried her at first was her father's partner, Ross McVeigh, and the fact that he turned out to be the mysterious stranger with whom she had spent one enchanted evening in Suva. Later, of course, there were other problems; she found she had fallen in love with Ross with quite disastrous speed, while he was always singing the praises of the glamorous Helen Curtis. Worse still, she realised that there was something very strange about her 'partnership' with Ross . . .
