A former Golden Heart recipient, Joanne has won numerous awards for her stories. Her work has been reprinted in twenty-six countries and translated into nineteen languages. She writes for the Harlequin Blaze, Harlequin Temptation and Harlequin Historical lines. She has a Master's degree in English from the University of Louisville and enjoys critiquing and giving writing workshops, often with romantic suspense author Catherine Mann. Since her award-winning romance debut, Learning Curves, was published in 2002, author Joanne Rock has gone on to write over sixty more titles in under a decade. As she notes on her MySpace page, “A dear friend says I’m a Type A personality masquerading through life as a Type B and she probably has a point.” After graduating with an English advanced degree in 1994, Rock taught at the college level for a time and also worked in public relations before turning her hand to romance writing.
