The Golden Raintree

About The Book

Innocence cloaked the sleepy Indiana town where Christine Brick enjoyed girlhood. The Quaker farm girl knew sun-dappled afternoons sitting under the Golden Raintree dreaming of James Warren, the all-American boy. It was a time to make promises, to look to the future....

But when they come of age, James heeds the clarion call to join "the war to end all war." And Christine faces a test of her bravery, her beliefs and her love.

Her heart follows James to battle...until she learns firsthand how far it is from the sun-drenched Indiana fields to the muddy trenches of France's Western Front.

A lifetime ago they vowed to be together...but now, can they find their way home?
