Book Description

496 B.C. takes place on the Attic coast of the Aegean Sea during the Ionian Revolt against the Persian Empire. Galen is the lover and recently freed slave of Prince Alexios. They are traveling to Delphi with Alexios' mentor King Lykos. Galen is still coming to terms with his changed status and all it entails.
