Kayleigh Jamison comes from a long, illustrious line of technologically and scientifically inclined men and women. The spawn of a computer software developer father and a psychologist mother, Ms. Jamison has frequently found herself at odds with her family as a result of her artsy, bohemian disposition.

A writer and musician at an early age, Ms. Jamison wrote her first novella at the age of seven, and first picked up a violin at eight. By eighteen, she had won several state and regional awards for the performance arts, recognizing her accomplishments in violin, viola, and oboe.

With a Bachelors degree in English and Philosophy and a Certification in Legal Studies, Ms. Jamison spends her days working as a paralegal in the corporate banking field and will be attending law school in August, 2006 to obtain her J.D. She is also head editor for Aphrodite's Apples Publishing, Inc, and a member of Sexy Authors With Attitude. An amateur linguist, Ms. Jamison speaks five languages, including Spanish, Russian, and Arabic. At night she immerses herself in the rich fantasy worlds of her imagination, exploring characters from the 18th century Hungarian Empire to modern day Los Angeles.

Her latest novel, Svetkavista, combines Ms. Jamison's knowledge of music with her love of history, and examines the secretive, fluid culture of the Romany people, and will be released later this year, only from Aphrodite's Apples.
