Book Description
The Marquess of Tregarron, despite an old scandal, returns to London in search of a wife -- he's certain that his money and title will open previously closed doors. When he discovers his town house in disrepair, he hires an architect to fix the place. Little does he know that it's niece Cate Buchanan who is doing the real work for her uncles. The plot revolves around the scandal and a small mystery of who is sending threatening notes that seem to be targeted at both Cate and Tregarron.
