Norah Jane Brown is an old maid before her time. When her grandfather's will stipulates that she must be married by 34 to inherit the family home, she finds herself desperate. Then fate intervenes in the form of a destructive fire hitting bad boy Elijah Wilder's business. Their marriage of convenience, their small town is convinced, will never last.
