Tess Fallon flees her cruel husband Seamus McKenzie, a plantation owner with her friend, pregnant slave Sonia. After brutal attack by Indians leaves Tess and Sonia the only survivors, Joaquin Morales masquerades as Tess's husband and escorts the women to a nearby fort. Joaquin, wrongly accused of his father's murder, is fighting to clear his name. As they try to save Joaquin, Seamus catches up with Tess and Sonia.
