Biography
Roxanne is the award-winning author of twenty romantic suspense and heartwarming, emotional relationship novels for Harlequin Superromance and Steeple Hill's Love Inspired Suspense series. She also contributed to the trade paperback, Orchestrated Murder.
Her first manuscript won the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart award in the Long Contemporary category, and her second manuscript was a Golden Heart finalist. A Man She Can Trust—a February 2006 Harlequin Superromance book—won the Romantic Times Bookclub Magazine's award for Best Superromance book of 2006. Roxanne was nominated for Romantic Times' Career Achievement Award in 2005.
Roxanne lives in the country with her family and a menagerie of pets that frequently find their way into her books. She has a masters degree in nutrition, is a registered dietitian and works part-time at a residential psychiatric facility. If not working at her day job, writing at home in her PJ’s, or spending time with her family, you'll find her riding one of the family's horses, playing with her camera, or hiding with her nose in a book.
You can visit her personal Web site for news about her books, articles, a free cookbook and a monthly contest. There, you can also sign up for a free newsletter! The newsletter is sent just a few times per year, with fun recipes, information on contest prizes and winners, and includes news about any upcoming book releases.
According to website [[1]], Roxanne's writing has won a number of awards including the Romance Writers of America Golden Heart in Long Contemporary in 1995 for her first manuscript. She has written 16 Harlequin Superromance titles and is now enjoying writing inspirational fiction for Steeple Hill.
She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, International Thriller Writers, RWA, Author’s Guild, Novelists Inc., the Faith, Hope and Love chapter of RWA, RWA’s Mystery & Suspense Chapter, Christian Writer’s Group International, and the Heart of Iowa Fiction Authors.
