Book Description
Mystery novelist Grace McCabe unwinds after a grueling book tour by visiting her sister, Kathleen, a teacher who is hoarding money to hire a lawyer to regain custody of her son. Grace then discovers that Kathleen is also Desiree, a phone sex operator. One night, Grace returns home to find her sister strangled by her phone cord (which shows an element of dated writing) -- before long, Grace is plunged into a world she's only written about.
