Book Description

Ellen North, a lawyer, tries to solve the case of a missing boy, Josh Kirkwood, while another child, Megan O'Malley, recovers from kidnap and assault in the hospital. Picking up where the previous novel, Night Sins left off, Dr. Garrett Shaw is accused of the crime, but it's clear that he's not working alone.

The book features a large cast of characters with shifting motives, including true crime writer Jay Butler Brooks, who serves as the romantic interest in this story.
