Book Description

Helene de Severs spent time at the estate of the Earl of Treyhern when her mother was the Earl's mistress. She has put that scandalous life behind her and learned Europe’s emerging field of psychiatric medicine to help troubled children. When the Earl drops dead while debauching a governess, Camden Rutledge, the new Earl, must rebuild his family. Particularly he must find someone to help his daughter who has not spoken since the death of mother. Cam hires the very best. And when Helene steps down from his carriage, he is hit by the memory of the lovely teenager he had fallen in love with many years before. At the same time he must try to solve the mystery that surrounds the death of his wife.
