Award-winning author Amy Corwin is an insatiable reader and a compulsive writer. She joined the Romance Writers of America at its inception in 1980 and recently began seriously writing for publication. MORE magazine's June 2007 issue featured an article about Amy and other career women who reached a point in their "day jobs" where they wanted to explore their creative side. She went on to sell her first Regency romance, Smuggled Rose to Cerridwen Press in 2007.
Smuggled Rose received excellent reviews, including a 4-star review by The Romantic Times. Her second book, a historical romantic mystery, I BID ONE AMERICAN was published by The Wild Rose Press in May 2008.
In addition to writing, she has extensive gardens containing over 100 Old Garden and English roses. She is a member of the American Rose Society and has written many articles about roses, including roses grown during England's Regency period at the beginning of the 19th century.
