Lady Emma Wells-Finch, headmistress of a girls' school in England, comes to Texas for two weeks to research a book she is writing and to slightly ruin her reputation in order to avoid marriage to the odious Duke of Beddington. Her friend, Francesca Beaudine (Fancy Pants), arranges for her to be driven around by Kenny Traveler, a pro-golfer who is under suspension after a series of unfortunate events. Emma mistakes Kenny for a gigolo and Kenny can't believe that she is so bossy and carries an umbrella. Needless to say they have an interesting two weeks.
