After graduating from university with a major in history Canaadian author Karyn Monk began to build a career in advertising: She resigned from her job after marrying and became a writer. Her first novel (Surrender To A Stranger) was published in 1995. Due to being a mother of 3 small children her writing career came to a temporary halt in 2005. She lives in Toronto.
