As an author for Harlequin Romance, Marcella Thompson published four novels. She co-authored "Romance Novels as Women's Myths." (Paradoxa: Studies in World Literary Genres 3.1-2: 219-232.) with Patricia Koski and Lori Holyfield. She is a professor of sociology at the University of Arkansas.
