Faking It may be the closest Jennifer Crusie has come to a sequel -- she brings back Davy Dempsey from Welcome To Temptation, pairing him with mural artist Matilda Goodnight. Tilda is struggling to keep her family home and her family secrets -- not as easy as it sounds, considering how many secrets there are, including -- but not limited to -- a little art forgery. Crusie's cast of characters include bad boy Davy, Tilda's mother, her split-personality sister, gay ex-brother-in-law, niece, her niece's best friend, an FBI agent, Cleo from Welcome To Temptation, assorted criminals, and a host of others. Faking It is both romp and romance.
