Dylan Hart and Skeeter Bang finally get together in this book. Dylan is second in command (after the general in Washington D.C.) of the Steele Street Special Defense Forces. He has returned from Indonesia after surviving torture and drugs to find that Skeeter, the young, scarred, blond auto mechanic and computer genius who is in charge of running the office, has been trained to become an agent. Dylan has managed to avoid spending time with Skeeter because he is attracted to her in spite of her youth, but now he has to rely on her for an operation in Washington D.C. and Skeeter finally gets him to admit that they should be together.
