Book Description
Cybelline dresses as Boadicea to attend a masked ball, and decides to ask rakehell Christopher Hollins, Earl of Ferrin, to seduce her. Since she is leaving the next day to live the life of a widow with her young daughter in a remote village she figures she will never see him again. He has other ideas. Once he hunts her down he learns that she is actually afraid for her life because of the circumstances of her husband's apparent-suicide. As a scientist and inventor, he is challenged by the mystery that surrounds her.
