This book is unusual for an [[Intrigue]] in that it is written in the first person. Because the story is filled with a series of mysterious characters, including the hero and heroine, all pretending to be someone they aren't, it is unclear, at the end of the novel, if the name given by the hero is his true name or another identity. | This book is unusual for an [[Intrigue]] in that it is written in the first person. A Harlequin Intrigue with a bit of a Gothic flair.
This book is unusual for an Intrigue in that it is written in the first person. Because the story is filled with a series of mysterious characters, including the hero and heroine, all pretending to be someone they aren't, it is unclear, at the end of the novel, if the name given by the hero is his true name or another identity.
