In 2000, Emma Holly had written straight erotica (for Black Lace), erotic romance (for the Secrets books from Red Sage) and super steamy romance (for Berkley). With her launch into straight romance, the Black Lace titles were rereleased and repackaged in the romance section of the bookstore (to some readers shock). Her erotica has always had a strong underlying romance, even when the story is about bondage or a menage a trois.
