Ruth Wind, who also writes as Barbara Samuel, has been writing romance for 18 years and is known for her deeply emotional, complex romances and women's fiction. She is a multiple RITA winner under both names. Most of her category romance books are set in the Southwest. Ruth continues to write category romances for Silhouette.
