Chick-lit Mystery takes the attitude and snappy nature of standard Chick-lit novels and throws a little mystery, suspense, and romance into the mix. Since the basis of a good Chick-lit novel is the character's voice, these mysteries tend to have more attitude than your traditional crime novel.
For examples of chick-lit mysteries, see Meg Cabot's new series, starting with the first title Size Twelve Is Not Fat.
