Biography
After earning her engineering degree, Laura Hayden spent several years traveling with her husband as military assignments moved him around the country. After settling in Colorado, she turned her attention to writing romance novels. Shortly after selling her first novel, she won the Golden Heart for her multi-genre novel, A Margin In Time (Hayden describes it as a "time travel/ Western/ mystery/ romance novel").
Well-known for her service to the romance community, Hayden served on the Board of Directors for the Romance Writers of America in 2000-2001. She is also the former president and conference director for the Pikes Peak Romance Writers. She is also a member of the Mystery Writers of America.
She has co-authored novels with former First Daughter Susan Ford and co-wrote The Official Nora Roberts Companion with Denise Little.
