When three young students committed suicide, Cameron was held responsible for their deaths. Everyone said their girlish minds had been unable to cope with the headmaster's instructions in the arts of Satanism. Dazed and horrified, he hanged himself. And the exclusive girls school closed in a haze of evil and mystery. Many years later Cameron's widow, mentally ill and dying, begs her daughter Mara to return to the school, reopen it and clear her father's name.
