Book Description

A series of threatening letters triggered Jessica Aylesworth’s recurring nightmares and spilled into her waking fears. As public defender, she believed passionately in law and order, but she’d do anything to save herself from the terror that stalked her—including taking the law into her own hands.

With his commanding presence and rock-solid strength, Casey Casimiricz could have been the answer to Jessica’s prayers. But there was something suspicious about the rogue cop, and his lack of cooperation sent up a warning flare.

Her instincts told Jessica that Casey was somehow connected to the nightmares that surrounded her. And she’d learned from bitter experience she was no judge of innocence and guilt.
