Beverly Sommers is a pseudonym for Joy Freeman. The San Antonio-based author was born in 1934.

As a Harlequin American author, Beverly Sommers published 18 romances. She also published 2 books with Harlequin Intrigue and four with Silhouette Intimate Moments.
