Book Description

Widow Molly Sheffield finds an unconcious injured man on her property, and realizes that he must be an immigrant farm worker who had escaped from the raid the night before which had been led by her brother, the local deputy. While she is trying to decide what to do, the man comes to and asks her where "Josefina"is. Molly, a nurse, decides not to turn in the man until he can heal and they can find Josefina. She is intrigued both by the man's beauty, but also by the mystery of Josefina. In fact, Alejandro Sosa is in the country illegally, but he has come to collect his eight-year-old American-born niece after the death of his sister.
