Susan Donovan has had five novels and three novellas published since 2002. She lives in Maryland and is a member of the Washington Romance Writers. She was born and grew up in Ohio and attended Northwestern University. She graduated with a degree in journalism and a minor in Japanese language and sociology, then went on for her master’s degree.

Her novel, The Kept Woman, was nominated for a 2007 RITA in the Best Contemporary Single Title category.
