Shannon McKelden has been writing women's fiction and romance for many years. Her first novel, Venus Envy, is a Tor/Forge book published in January 2007, which was subsequently published in mass market format in January 2008. The sequen to Venus Envy, Venus Guy Trap, will be published early 209.
An active member of the Romance Writers of America, McKelden has served on the board of two local RWA chapters. She has published short stories and poetry in True Confessions and True Romance magazines and, when not pursuing her passion for romantic women's fiction, McKelden is also a contributing writer for an online parenting magazine. She lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest.
