Stephanie Laurens has a Ph.D. in biochemistry and worked for many years as a research scientist in the area of cancer research. She currently lives outside Melbourne, Australia with her husband, two daughters and two cats. She has been writing historical romance novels for more than 16 years and is a New York Times, Publishers Weekly, Wall Street Journal and USA-Today bestseller.
