Bantam Books is an US publisher and was established in 1945. The publishing house company is now a company of Random House, Inc. In 1999, Bantam Books and Dell Publishing merged to form the Bantam Dell Publishing Group, the largest division of Random House, Inc.

Once a large paperback and category romance publisher with the imprints Loveswept and Sweet Valley, Bantam now publishes a few select imprints. The list of writers includes the crime novelists Elizabeth George, Iris Johansen, Tami Hoag, Dean Koontz and Louis L'Amour, one of bestselling writers of all time.
