Dorothea Nile is a pseudonym used by Michael Avallone (1924 - 1999) to write Gothic romances. He was a very prolific writer and wrote in all different genres including mystery, western, spy, crime/noir and romance. It is estimated that he wrote near 1000 novels and short stories.
