Muriel Jensen sold her first book, Winter's Bounty, to Harlequin American Romance in 1983 and has gone on to publish over seventy romance novels. She discovered a love of romance fiction by reading the works of such romance luminaries as Lilian Peake, Anne Hampson, Margaret Way, and Violet Winspear.

As an author for Harlequin American Romance, Muriel Jensen has published 45 books.
