In 1885, Lindsay Harte is a Christian woman who’s never been courted. The daughter of a rancher, Lindsay is saddened at the prospect of love, as none of the men of Colton, Wyoming have come to call.

Jake Tanner is a cowboy looking for work at the Harte of Gold, her father’s ranch. He finds himself powerfully attracted to Lindsay, and it isn’t long before their friendship turns into love.

Yet when tragedy strikes, Jake and Lindsay’s fragile love is tested to the breaking point. Will their tender romance survive, even when the odds are stacked against them?
