Monica M. Martin is of Irish, Scottish, and New Guinean descent. She was born in a small town called Longreach, which is located in Outback Queensland, Australia. Ms. Martin was baptized Holy Roman Catholic. She has five siblings and one teenage son. Ms Martin lives on the east coast of Australia with her family.

Monica had her first erotic romance published in 2003. She writes historical, contemporary, fantasy and paranormal sensual/erotic romance. She also writes sensual, erotic, and non-erotic poetry.
