Biography

Elizabeth August is also known as Betty Marie Wilhite (her real name, sometimes spelled as Bettie Marie Wilhite) as well as Elizabeth Douglas and Betsy Page. Wilhite also wrote under the name Kathleen Ward. According to one source, Wilhite was born in 1942, though it appears that the noted date of death cited by that source is incorrect, based on the dates of books published by August for Silhouette Romance[1].

As an author for Silhouette Romance, Elizabeth August published 32 novels.
